We're a team of photographers based in Japan and Singapore, brought together by both friendship and a shared passion for storytelling through the lens. Our journey began in school and has since evolved into a full-time pursuit of capturing life’s most meaningful moments.
Over the years, we've explored a wide range of genres. From sports and corporate events to landscapes, but we found our true calling in portrait photography. There’s something deeply rewarding about helping people preserve their happiest, most personal milestones.
With a combined experience of over 30 years, we've had the honour of documenting countless love stories and memories, from proposals, pre-weddings, elopements, to family portraits and more.
We believe that every life milestone deserves to be documented beautifully. Our goal is to create photographs that not only capture a moment, but also evoke the emotions and memories that come with it, long after the day has passed.

Was searching for solemnisation/pre-wedding photoshoot; found Two Grains, where their photography style is something different in the SG market and closer to my personal preference. DM-ed my request and they were able to reiterate the brief with clear mutual understanding (appreciated this because reiteration = understanding of my needs as a client!).
After confirming the service, They went great lengths to recce the actual day location to ensure things would proceed as smooth as possible within their means, since it could be a rain-or-shine event.
Actual day arrived and they arrived much earlier at venue. With precision and simple directions given, they were able to bring us through a straightforward and fuss-free couple photoshoot experience (it was my first!). Enjoyed the whole process and grateful for the genuine and professional attitude. Received the photos with attention to all details, appreciate the efforts that went into every single photo.

I’m so happy to have found Two Grains to photograph my family! We took a vacation to Japan and wanted to capture our amazing time there and did exactly that.
Two Grains was wonderful with getting my kids to smile and gave them interesting questions and challenges that made genuine smiles in the photos. They were also extremely accommodating with our schedule. Although we ended up keeping our original day and time, when it seemed our flight will not work out, they were willing to make arrangements to meet in a different city on a different day to make it happen. We got our photos back quickly and they edited them so beautifully.
